Job Title: 

Product Data Coordinator

Purpose of the job:

The Product Data coordinator will support the business in improving the Data Quality of S&T books, in all its manifestations, print, POD, Electronic. S/He will be the point of contact for questions regarding data quality. S/He will work in close collaboration with the Central PPM Administrative Support team, CAM-PPM team, customer support teams, Delta team. The Product Data Coordinator will create reports to pro-actively review and improve the data quality of S&T books at the various books publishing milestones. The Product Data Coordinator will report to the S&T Books Global Head of Information Services.

 Key Result Area: 

Deliver accurate and timely product data for internal and external customers:

• Collect, assemble, enter, format and update all appropriate and required product information within two business days of receipt. 
• Review exception reports on a regular basis providing missing data and correction to errors.
• Communicate critical data updates and changes.
• Check data at ISBN milestone for accuracy, communicating necessary data fixes back to Publishing.
• Idem at the Final Pricing / ATI milestone

Data Integrity Management:

• Deliver reports on the accuracy of product data across all three systems.

• Create reports to support business on data quality

Data Integrity Procedures: 

Draft and maintain procedures at a detailed level, and assure distribution across relevant business and archiving
• Manage change request log
• Participate in training exercises

 General Activities:

• Provide support to other team members at times of vacation and illness.

• Participate in special projects to support the Data Integrity Team

Experience with PPM or Delta is a pre.


Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Any graduate

University level or proven experience with data quality projects

Min 1 yr experience using databases

Work experience within book publishing is an added advantage
