Operations Supervisor III

The Senior Supervisor for the Iloilo Case Law Enhancement team will be responsible in overseeing all Primary Law cases enhancements teams including Jury Verdict & Settlement, Caselaw Summaries, LN Pacific Case Base and LN Canada Cases. The Senior Supervisor will be trained and should have an in-depth knowledge of all the processes under his/her supervision. In addition, the Senior Supervisor will work closely with the stakeholders, CLE Senior Manager, other supervisors and editors to: q Actively drive improvements that increase productivity and staff effectiveness. q Leads continuous learning initiatives for team members. q Advises on hiring, training and development, allocation and performance assessment of personnel within area of responsibility q Consistently leads change initiatives and holds self- accountable for execution, outcomes, and results of the change. q Directly coordinates operational and training needs to the Business Unit when necessary. 

Data Management

Design, develop, and modify data management infrastructure to expedite data analysis and reporting.

Implement policies and guidelines for data management.

Review presentations, dashboard, tables and graphs for accuracy and quality.

Develop standard operating procedures for data handling and archiving.

Maintain data management plans and operating instructions for complex business systems and architectures.

Provide guidance in identifying and defining data requirements.

Provide technical oversight for integrating new technology or new initiatives into data standards and structures.

Ensure the integrity, confidentiality and security of all datasets.


Transition Management

Plan and manage transition effectively by working closely with key stakeholders, project management team, recruitment team, seat utilization and facilities team, and other support teams to ensure efficient transition

Ensure that the transition done at an agreed and acceptable level of quality and target start date

Define, track, monitor and act-on various performance metrics during transition

Accountable for the continuous improvements of the transition process

Manage transition costs and if applicable – budget, giving full cost transparency of the transition.

Management and governance of the Work Order document.


Operations Management

Assist the manager in achieving or exceeding REPH key initiatives covering operational efficiency, business maturity, leadership culture, customer experience, and culture and branding

Ensure the services provided by the team to stakeholders and customers are within or above the set targets for quality, efficiency, and cost effective performance.

Utilize best practices in tools automation, process improvement and documentation

Provide 2nd level handling of escalation related to operational or functional issues

Continuous Improvement – Lead and implement process improvement projects (Kaizen, Lean or Six Sigma) for the year within or outside of own area.

Process Audit – Support annual process audit activities.

Operations Standard – support compliance with established processes


Stakeholder Management

Submit weekly operations performance status report to Marketing Manager

Generate monthly performance update to BU stakeholders

Update all necessary reports needed by stakeholders

Ensure all reports are accurate, updated and submitted on time 


Conflict/Crisis Management

Regularly review the needs of employees

Help discuss, evaluate and resolve personal and work issues among team members

Inform and monitor employees during times of crisis or disaster to assess situation

Inform the manager of the current situation of team members and recommend solution


In-depth understanding of data management, business process, and operations

Has background in Six Sigma, RCA; Yellow/Green Belt certified would be a plus

Has substantial leadership skills/experience and can work well with various personalities

Has strong sense of ownership relating to tasks and responsibilities

Organized and very systematic in handling tasks at hand

Provide sound and sensible recommendation for improvement

Proficient trouble-shooting skills

Very proactive in stakeholder management, project ownership and team coordination

Meticulous attention to details

Very decisive and result oriented

Ability to work under tight deadlines

Ability to interpret and understand information in order to see the bigger picture

Intermediate skills in SQL

Knowledgeable in Tableau

Familiar with data research

Willing to work on fixed night shift
