Job Summary:
The Senior Marketing Specialist II works closely with the Marketing Managers inplanning, development and execution of marketing campaigns, incorporating the appropriate marketing tools and channels to communicate brand and value propositions, and to generate direct and indirect revenue. Also, manage Marketing events and ADHOC duties to drive operational efficiencies and performance in team’s success.


Accountabilities:


Marketing

  • Work with various marketing and cross-functional teams to coordinate and prioritize key marketing projects, adhere to budget, and update Marketing Managers on a regular basis.
  • Work with external and internal creative resources to ensure high quality output on time.
  • Proactively manage and update the campaign marketing plans.
  • Managing various and multiple marketing projects from start to end
  • Focus on generating qualified leads to the business thus converting potential sales prospects into business opportunities and revenue
  • Support and run other marketing projects (product and online marketing), if necessary; and
  • Identify, develop and evaluate marketing strategy based on established business and marketing objectives.
  • Develop and manage marketing initiatives and campaigns to meet the needs identified by Segment management to drive brand awareness, new leads, retention and/or revenue.
  • Assist in the new product launch plans and roll out to customers as applicable. Alignment with the Marketing function area needs
  • Development and execution of the marketing tactics
  • Support the Marketing Managers on marketing plan development, on brand, product or marketing of specialized area
  • Generate creative and innovative ideas that can be will be carry out into impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Maintaining key business partner relationships

  • Specialize in either product marketing or  segment marketing

Events

  • Event Management not limited to data entry and monitoring of events and orders
  • Work with external and internal creative resources to ensure high quality output on time.
  • Develop, organise and run events, ensure timely follow-up with sales representative, develop relationships with key contacts, network to identify prospects and share results with key stakeholders.
  • Liaise with external suppliers including event vendors,
  • Manage key events (e.g. client events, conference, tradeshows, CLE etc.) in coordination with the business and the events team.
  • Managing various events from start to end.


ADHOC

  • GCRM/JCM inputs and reporting.
  • Sales “Toolbox” fulfillment (Gift Cards and Brownie request)
  • Manage data for updates, duplicates, follow-up, fulfillment and post reporting
  • Various monthly task provided by the Marketing Managers.
  • Executing on special projects/assignments on a needed basis

Other Qualifications/Requirements:

 

·         BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or Communications

·         A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an existing Marketing role.  Some prior Business to Business Marketing experience preferred.

·         Knowledge of and can apply marketing mix concepts (e.g., brand positioning, brand architecture, SWOT analysis, competitive assessment, marketing objectives/strategies, customer segmentation).

·         Knows or is familiar with procedures and marketing mix elements that drive increase in volume and brand equity.

·         Knows and applies basic marketing strategies (marketing programs).

·         Knows basic sales management concepts (sell-in process, benefits/features products, channels, and training).

·         Fluency in all Microsoft Office programs, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel;

·         Working knowledge of key technology – WebEx, LiveMeeting, etc.

·         Working knowledge of marketing automation

·         Strong quantitative knowledge and problem solving skills

·         Develops alliances internally and externally that will drive efficiency and help create success for the company and its customers, suppliers, community.

·         Develops and uses collaboration for the purpose of accomplishing work objectives; develops relationships with other individuals by listening, sharing ideas, and appreciating others.

·         Must be very process-driven and demonstrate outside of the box thinking to produce results in a resource constraint environment;
