Lead Generation Representative – Amirsys Physician Specialty Solutions

Lead Gen is responsible for generating qualified leads for the inside and field-based sales team via outbound calling activities to physicians, clinics and hospitals. The job incumbent’s mission is to conduct targeted outbound calling initiatives focused on generating interest in the tools and solutions that drive efficiency and reduce costs and increasing the capabilities surrounding diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Lead Gen will be expected to engage with clinical and IT organization stakeholders and provide a consultative approach, to articulate the value proposition of partnering with Elsevier Clinical Solutions. This position will develop relationships with prospects, determine needs and opportunities to engage and to create business relationships. Strategic prospecting, persistence, multiple touchpoints, relationship development will be critical in successful lead generation.


The Account Specialist will represent the following products:

STATdx:  An online diagnostic decision support product that increases speed, accuracy, and confidence in diagnosing complex imaging cases.

RadPrimer:  Helps radiologists fine tune their diagnostic skills and increase their knowledge. From a first year resident to an experienced radiologist, this powerful tool is essential to lifelong learning.

ExpertPath:  An online system that delivers easily accessible, expert-based decision support to help pathologists confidently select appropriate tests, reach the right diagnosis, and provide relevant prognostic and therapeutic information.

ImmunoQuery:  The definitive, evidence-based, decision support system for immunohistochemistry. 

Reference Centers:  Online radiology, pathology and anatomy references for the whole institution.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Outbound calling to targeted customers.
  • Administrative pipeline management and lead generation.
  • Provides market intelligence/prospect-based feedback to internal stakeholders
  • Target attendees at selected trade shows and set up meetings with team and leadership at those meetings
  • Build Pipeline for Amirsys/Physician Specialty Solutions business
  • Collaborate internally, develop and present account profiles for prospect accounts


Requirements/Skills needed:

  • 1 year phone sales experience – emphasis on outbound calling, prospecting, and lead generation.
  • Aptitude to present, influence with initiative to grow and develop a career in healthcare sales
  • Pipeline management
  • Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
  • Salesforce.com or CRM software experience helpful
  • Motivation to excel and achieve sales results
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and resource management skills
  • Capable of preparing and delivering professional sales presentations to divergent audiences
  • Ability to identify all decision makers and gain a commitment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and develop relationships at all organizational levels
  • 4-year degree required preferably with an emphasis in sales and marketing, business management, or healthcare related field or equivalent experience
