The Key Client Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing relationship with our top customers in the Large Law market. This role ensures that LexisNexis is the preferred business partner by providing a superior customer experience through customized solutions and services.

Accountabilities: 
  • Establish, maintain, and expand strategic partnerships and relationships with top Large Law customers (nearly 1/3 of the markets revenue) 
  • Superior ability to build, maintain, and execute strategic account plans 
  • Represents to the customer all LexisNexis business units, products and solutions 
  • Responsible for clearly and effectively communicating the LexisNexis vision to C-level stakeholders in the firm 
  • Upon request, provides expert level market input for strategic business decisions including product investments and acquisition targets 
  • Responsible for fully leveraging LexisNexis's packaging strategy 
  • Constantly seeking unique opportunities to differentiate LexisNexis's solutions 
  • Leverages Sales Consultants and Customer Training resources to develop and execute a robust training program to maintain and grow active users 
  • Enable top clients to achieve their business objectives by utilizing and maximizing value from LexisNexis products and services 
  • Accountable for setting and exceeding sales & strategic objectives with each customer 
  • Fully immersed in customer organization, develop strong relationship with key contacts and decision makers at all levels, grow customer preference for LexisNexis through superior user experience 
  • Serve as a link of communication between customer and internal teams 
  • Demonstrates superior understanding of LexisNexis products, content and solutions including the ability to articulate competitive differentiators and our value proposition 
  • Other duties as assigned 
  • BS/BA in business, JD or MBA a plus 
  • 10 years of proven track record in B2B solution/consultative selling and key account management 
  • Experience in the legal industry; deep understanding of global law firm business model, practices, and workflow 
  • Superior ability to identify, understand, articulate and solve customer needs 
  • Strong organizational and execution skills, ability to effectively partner and collaborate across teams 
  • Proven success negotiating contracts and closing business 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present to C-level audience 
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time 
  • Ability to lift/carry laptop, IPad and other sales materials up to 25 lbs
