Inside Sales Specialist, Physician Specialty Solutions

We are looking for a motivated sales professional to sell our suite of enterprise information solutions to hospitals via phone, WebEx presentations, and face to face sales calls.  Our products aid doctors, nurses, and healthcare administrators to provide the highest level of care using current, evidenced based information at the point of care, including best practices, new treatment modalities and ground-breaking research. We need an individual who is comfortable with prospecting & developing new business, managing relationships, and renewing existing Elsevier contracts within a complex selling environment.  Elsevier is the leading provider of medical information in the world. The Sales Specialist will represent the following products:

STATdx:  An online diagnostic decision support product that increases speed, accuracy, and confidence in diagnosing complex imaging cases.

RadPrimer:  Helps radiologists fine tune their diagnostic skills and increase their knowledge. From a first year resident to an experienced radiologist, this powerful tool is essential to lifelong learning.

ExpertPath:  An online system that delivers easily accessible, expert-based decision support to help pathologists confidently select appropriate tests, reach the right diagnosis, and provide relevant prognostic and therapeutic information.

ImmunoQuery:  The definitive, evidence-based, decision support system for immunohistochemistry. 

Reference Centers:  Online radiology, pathology and anatomy references for the whole institution.

 

Elsevier Organizational Overview:  The Clinical Solutions Division of Elsevier uses its industry-leading intellectual property and content to create Clinical and Drug Reference, Patient Engagement, Performance Management, Workflow and Decision Support products for healthcare professionals across a range of practice settings and commercial organizations.  These products and tools aid in disease management, medication error reductions, workflow improvements, effective patient management and economic analysis and cost control.

 

 Your Responsibilities:

  • Execute new business sales strategies
  • Build relationships with prospects, partners and customers
  • Prospect & qualify leads to develop new business opportunities
  • Manage the complete sales process through contract execution
  • Identify Potential Up-sell and Cross Selling Opportunities for other Clinical Solutions Products
  • Deliver on Cross Promotional Product Strategies
  • Execute Sales Standards and Tools (Sales Framework, Siebel CRM)
  • Perform effective product demonstrations of the products via webinar or onsite
  • Assist in crafting strategy and customer communications, developing use case, and leveraging market knowledge for sales opportunities
  • Use of Sales Methodologies for managing sales process and team selling activities

 

 

 Our Requirements:

  • Successful sales experience within competitive markets
  • Experience selling software or information solutions within healthcare preferred
  • CRM experience
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% to client sites and trade shows
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • Possess and display effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to learn and to share knowledge with other team members
  • Detailed oriented, a logical thinker, and a good listener
  • Team and goal oriented
  • Possess a positive attitude with co-workers and clients
  • Ability to maintain good client relationships
  • Ability to use analytical skills to recognize potential sales obstacles and recommend solutions
  • Comply with company policy and procedures
  • Use of Microsoft Back-Office systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • History of demonstrated sales success in achieving and exceeding sales targets preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
