The role of the Inside Sales representative is to manage and provide support to the longer tail of customers within the defined region in order to achieve budgeted sales quotas throughout the year. They would act as the first contact point for all new sales queries within the region and assist in escalating these to the relevant stakeholders to ensure that the sales opportunity is provided the correct level of service; whilst provided wider administrative support to the regional sales team.


Main Activities and Responsibilities 


• Analyze accounts by sales opportunity and prioritize actions based on the best opportunities for sales growth.

• Regular calling schedule devised and implemented across accounts to ensure regular communication for promotion of product and market feedback. This can be done through a combination of telephone calling email and newsletters.

• Upsell relevant new product based on account insight knowledge.

• Assess account suitability to ensure automation of order process where appropriate. Evaluate and qualify regional sales leads

• Act as an initial contact for regional sales queries to filter sales opportunities by level of importance.

• Escalate larger sales opportunities to the relevant sales manager using a pre-defined process.

• Ensure timely processing of smaller sales opportunities through customer services. Administrative contact for the wider regional sales team.

• Filing of sales documentation across the region including account applications; sales contracts; quotations; official correspondence; technical setup etc.

• Office based presence to distribute postal communication.

 • Distribution of sales and promotional tools.

• Co-ordination of regional book fairs with other departments including the exhibitions department.

• Provide order forms and price lists across the region for use by customers. • Upload new title information to wholesalers and bookseller’s sites across their region.

• Act as a liaison between marketing and product teams with wider regional sales team. Analyzing sales, building reports and slide decks-Looking for additional sales information Additional

• Authorize inspection copy occasionally

•Use of SLX (CRM for Distributors and Education) -Stock information, stock reviewing ordering


 Bachelor Degree required

 Good Comunications Skills, writting, reading and conversation in Spanhish and English (fluency will be a plus)
