Position Summary

Primary responsibility is to function as a Recruiting and Talent lead in support of Workday at RELX group. Work with the Talent Acquisition and Development COEs and others as appropriate to understand their business needs and to bring Workday to bear to meet those needs. Suggest beneficial changes to the product and manage the implementation of new functionality which is released. Manage the team to support the organization's objectives by optimally configuring and maintaining the product.

 

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with Talent Acquisition and Development Teams and other colleagues as needed to understand and support the design and execution of RELX's recruiting, onboarding and talent activities through Workday
  • Responsible for maintenance and configurations of all recruiting, onboarding and talent elements in Workday; serve as level three escalation point for production support
  • Manage the daily workload of the related functional team
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for future roadmap development of recruiting, onboarding and talent workstreams
  • Supports HR Business Partners and business colleagues as the recruiting, onboarding and talent subject matter expert
  • Work with the technical team to identify, provide requirements and test related security, integrations and reports
  • Identify, recommend and track opportunities for process and operational improvements
  • Collaborate with the Workday Community and the area user groups to resolve issues found within recruiting, onboarding and talent domains; proactively remain informed about Workday enhancements and contribute to the future roadmap development of the workstreams
  • Assist in implementing recruitment, onboarding and talent strategies to support the organization
  • Works with the subject matter experts and the technical team to identify, provide requirements and test related security, integrations, reports and analytics
  • Assists Talent Acquisition and Development COEs in the design of management information systems that provide requisite information regarding recruitment, performance management and other talent activities
  • Manage periodic cycles from a systems perspective including performance review, talent management and other applicable activities
  • Efficiently manage large amounts of data to perform analysis
  • Work in a fast paced environment that requires tasks to be completely quickly and accurately 

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, systems or business or equivalent experience
  • 6-8 years of HR systems functional experience, including 3-5 years supporting or working with talent and/or recruiting systems; Workday experience preferred
  • SME Skills;  Serve as an SME for the team
  • Possesses functional knowledge of HR core business processes as well as strong systems analytics and support background
  • Strong People Leadership skills with ability to manage cross functional team members and serve as a SME for the team
  • Communication; ability to develop and manage communication plans; effectively articulate business and COE technology requirements in Workday ecosystem.  Strong presentation skills and able to demonstrate ability to influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executives
  • Consultative working style with high level of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with confidential data and business information and initiatives
  • Stakeholder Management; Proven ability to manage multiple projects, keeping stakeholders updated while remaining focused on detail and execution of deliverables
