Head of Marketing, EMEA & APAC (InterAction)

For InterAction, the Head of Marketing, EMEA & APAC takes a strategic approach to developing, implementing and executing compelling regional marketing plans and contributing to global marketing strategy. This role is key in driving our messages into market, generating understanding of the product amongst both prospects and our existing client base, communicating with clients across all channels, and creating new leads and market enthusiasm for InterAction.

The role works closely with Commercial Director – EMEA & APAC, Director of Global Marketing, Head of Marketing Americas, Product Management, and Product Marketing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Commercial Director to define the marketing plan to create market interest, deliver qualified leads, communicate with existing clients to support loyalty, and reinforce strategic positioning of InterAction.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers, Key Account Managers and Client Advisors to design and deliver specific market and client initiatives
  • Collaborate with Director of Marketing to ensure that marketing campaigns, events, customer communications, webinars, broad social media presence, etc. utilize the most appropriate and efficient resources (internal & external) and deliver against operational metrics.
  • Provide regional point of view for global campaigns including product launches, content marketing, public relations, etc.
  • Lead and deliver select projects with global impact
  • Collaborate with Head of Marketing, Americas to leverage campaigns, content, etc. from one region into other regions. Similarly, share campaigns, content, etc. created for the UK, EMEA or APAC regions to be leveraged in Americas.
  • Collaborate with marketing counterparts in other areas of LexisNexis to ensure InterAction is represented and incorporated in marketing activities when appropriate such as events, websites, etc.
  • Collaborate with social media team to incorporate social media into overall marketing plan, and provide direction in the development of social content and execution of social campaigns.
  • Work with leader of InterAction Partner Program to develop joint marketing programs with technology and consulting partners that align with overall partner strategy
  • Collaborate with the broad global team to deliver thought leadership content and programs designed to raise the profile of InterAction and individuals and confidence in InterAction from the legal and professional services market
  • Develop successful marketing programs designed to generate growth in leads and opportunities, customer engagement and loyalty which result in increased revenues, higher customer engagement, and improved usage and penetration of InterAction product modules.
  • Define the portfolio of events designed to strengthened and develop relationships with existing clients, targeted clients at the desired range of relationship / influencer levels
  • Develop and regularly report clear, actionable reporting, dashboards and analysis 
  • Generate marketing leads and sales leads forecasting that matches / integrates seamlessly with sale pipeline reporting 
  • Drive optimization of the marketing plan by leveraging performance data and marketing best practices within agreed budgets
  • Fully accountable for the delivery of the EMEA & APAC marketing plan to time to budget, and compliant with all branding guidelines, adhering to existing business processes. This includes managing external vendors and utilizing the most appropriate resources available, including the internal offshore operations team.
  • Create a process mind-set and analytical based culture, making refinements, and recommendations based on data analysis. Data driven analysis to assess performance and improve, from email campaigns to event participation to thought leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders around the business and external suppliers and establishes and maintains regular and ongoing communications with key stakeholders.
  • Hire, manage, develop and coach junior team members as team expands

Specialist Knowledge / Skills Required:

  • B2B software, SaaS or technology marketing and proposition marketing models, processes and techniques.
  • Experience leading large scale, global marketing programs
  • Understanding of the legal services market and key legal practice areas.
  • Experience in events, project management, budget management and performance-based management (defining and managing metrics vs. results).
