LexisNexis is seeking a knowledgeable and resourceful Global Product Manager. In this role you will support a search quality improvement program and have direct responsibility for scoping analysis projects, analyzing results from qualitative and quantitative data sources, and formulating recommendations based on completed analyses. The Global Product Manager is part of a team whose work measurably improves the search experience for LexisNexis products globally.


Accountabilities:

  • Lead or support analysis across a range to projects to measure search quality and identify pain points/areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with other Global Product Managers to manage and prioritize research backlog. 
  • Collaborate with other product managers, product owners and software engineers as appropriate to scope studies and define methodology. 
  • Manage execution of studies and delivery of results.
  • Analyze results and formulate findings. 
  • Collaborate with other product managers, product owners and software engineers to formulate recommendations based on analysis, including areas for further research.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS minimum; JD or advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in a product management or related role, preferably in a legal, publishing, or information services context.
  • Experience using professional research tools.
  • Experience using different search strategies (e.g., Boolean, advanced search)
  • Experience managing product analysis projects, including selecting and executing a methodology, analyzing data, and presenting results to different audiences.
  • Effective written and oral communication with multiple levels of business and technical leadership.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical thinker that can apply structure to research data.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment preferred.
