• Build strong relationships in the wider scientific community and collaborate with other parts of the business.
• Determine and execute strategic direction of your journal.
• Execute data-driven innovation and experimentation to the benefit of your journal community’s needs.

What you should bring

• PhD in ecology or a related field. Post-doctoral training is an advantage.
• Passion for science and scientific communication.

• Strong time management and organizational skills.
Previous publishing experience is not necessary – we will make sure you get the training and development you need.

What we offer
You will work in a highly dynamic and collaborative publishing environment that includes 16 Trends titles and 17 primary research titles across the life and physical sciences. You will also collaborate with your Cell Press colleagues to maximize quality and efficiency of content commissioning and participate in exciting new non-journal-based initiatives.

To apply

To apply, please submit a CV and cover letter describing your qualifications, research interests and reasons for pursuing a career in scientific communication and publishing.  No phone inquiries, please.  Cell Press is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
