The role we have open:

To support our growing business, we are looking for a detail-oriented digital marketing specialist with extensive experience in online marketing channels, as well as familiar with the latest technologies and trends in the digital marketing space.

 

The candidate will be reporting to the Senior Marketing Operations Manager based in the UK, and will be working/collaborating with team members spread across the globe.

 

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

Through effective management and coordination of digital and online channels to achieve optimized performance, the digital specialist role supports end goals in prospect engagement, lead generation, lead qualification, brand building and conversion.

 

Key Accountabilities include:

·        Review, actively manage and optimize website and key website conversion points

·        Oversee execution of Search Engine Optimization on an on-going basis

·        Ensure a joined-up search marketing strategy, blending free and paid 

·        Champion digital advertising to include programmatic, retargeting, ABM, Adobe Target

·        Monitor and report on digital channel performance. Identify opportunities for optimization.

·        Stay abreast of new digital technologies and capabilities which can help deliver on reaching and engaging target audiences

 

Responsibilities:

 

Website management & optimisation

 

·        Set clear objectives and KPI's for the website that align with the business goals.

 

·        Manage and coordinate web project plans and timelines.

 

·        Manage overall delivery, including the user experience, design, build, UAT, measurements, reporting and optimisation, working with the marketers and partners to develop/deploy.

 

·        Responsible for ensuring the website is optimised at all times and best practice is followed in terms of:

o   Speed of website (image size, file format etc)

o   Website code - Accuracy of content and information 

o   Help and support on best practice for organic on-page optimisation

 

·        Optimise user-experience and conversion points on the website

o   Improve form experience and completion rates

o   Review tracking to ensure required analytics are available

o   Look at opportunities for improving form integration and user experience. 

o   Review opportunities for customers vs prospects recognition, providing more of a customized experience

 

·        Ongoing reporting on performance of website. 

 

 

Search marketing

 

·        Review approach for organic and paid search channels ensuring that optimisation recommendations and tactics are shared with marketers for implementation.

 

·        Lead on the strategy alignment for organic and paid search.

 

·        Drive best-practice implementation for content creation and tagging to ensure that content and pages rank effectively for organic search. 

 

·        Work with Operations team and PPC specialist to ensure over-arching search strategies are adhered to and tactical execution by marketers incorporates optimisation recommendations.

 

·        Monitor and report on performance of search channels.  Track ROI.

 

 

Paid advertising channels 

 

·        Proactively review tactical use and performance of paid advertising channels including paid social, Google Display network and programmatic.  Suggest and share knowledge about paid advertising strategies and implementation with marketers. Recommend optimisation initiatives.

 

·        Act as super user and work to advise marketers on tactics for using targeting tools such as Adobe Target and data segmentation to remarket to site visitors.

 

·        Recommend on remarketing approaches to fit with campaign objectives.

 

·        Ensure that campaigns running on advertising channels can be analysed effectively and are meeting objectives.  Use reporting and analysis to inform future planning and to identify optimisation opportunities.

 

·        Report on performance of advertising channels against agreed KPIs.

 

 

 

EXPERIENCE

·        Knowledge of WordPress, Google web technology (ads, analytics, display network, tag manager), Adobe Target/Analytics

·        Experience working on complex product base and global campaigns

·        Working with development teams and translating technical requirements alongside business priorities

·        Working with marketers to develop and optimise new page templates/web functionality

·        Keen, analytical way of working with knowledge/experience of reporting on successes of web channels
