Accuity’s Data Strategy & Operations “DSO” Group is the organization in charge of defining the strategy and delivery for the content feeding the Risk & Compliance and Payments product portfolios and encompasses the content groups executing the sourcing, management, enrichment and structuring of the content. Our organization supports the solution roadmap designed and nurtured by Product Management. It closely collaborates with Product Technology to ensure seamless interfacing between our content and our technology products. We are chartered with delivering reliable, predictable and trustworthy high-value content to our clients and partners.

The Risk Data Content Specialist plays a lead role from the content SME and operations perspectives in managing and executing the processes for assessing and implementing enhancement, feature and change requests to Global WatchList (GWL), a global suite of high-risk, sanctions and regulatory lists. Requests originate from multiple channels including customers, Content Operations and Product Management or are driven by technology and regulatory changes. This role uses their deep understanding of the systems and processes used to maintain Global WatchList and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate requests are carried out and implemented optimally for consumers of GWL. A successful candidate will have strong skills in business analysis, project management and commutation with experience working across departments and interfacing with clients.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Gain and maintain expert knowledge of GWL content, content management systems, file formats and client GWL use cases
  • Keep up to date with market and regulatory trends and changes related to Financial Crime/Sanctions Compliance
  • Serve as the central contact point within the DSO Group for GWL enhancement, feature and change requests
  • Regularly engage with existing and prospective clients as part of the Sales and post-sale support process to collect feedback and serve as a SME on upcoming GWL initiatives
  • Gather requirements, analyze options and provide recommendations and impact assessments for new products, features and change requests.
  • Serve as a project manager for projects within the Content Operations area
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders through the inception, analysis, execution and implementation of product changes.
    • Internal: Content Operations, Product Management; Sales, Pre-sales, Compliance, Business Analysts, Technology
    • External: Clients, 3rd party data providers, 3rd party data integrators
  • Provide support and SME to the Product Management team’s processes for prioritizing initiatives and planning go-to-market strategies
  • Grow and mature the GWL customer advisory board to optimize the process of receiving and integrating client feedback on new initiatives
  • Maintain GWL product reference documentation

Key Experience and Skills Required:

  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in a professional role interfacing with internal and external clients preferably in a B2B setting.
  • Experience managing small and medium sized projects from inception to implementation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to clients and internal executives
  • Proven experience leading and taking accountability for initiatives driving business objectives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products including MS Visio, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally if necessary (less than 10%)
  • Four year college degree highly preferred

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience with AML/sanctions compliance
  • Previous experience with data analysis (e.g. SQL, Python)
  • Deep understanding of the usage of compliance data (e.g. sanctions, AML, KYC) in financial and non-financial firms
  • Experience serving products to the financial industry
  • Technical or process focused business analysis
