Job Title:  Customer Data Management (CDM) Subject Matter Expert (SME)

 

Location: Applicant situated within an easy commuting distance of either London or Cardiff offices.

 

Salary: Competitive Salary based upon Experience & Location

Schedule: Full time

Job Description:

A subject matter expert with deep knowledge of Customer Data Management & Master Data Management solutions. The position works closely with customers, the sales team and the product strategy group to advance the company’s ability to serve our customers. Positions the company’s products effectively in the market and act as a conduit for press and Industry analysts.

 

Main Responsibilities:

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all CDM Solutions. Work closely with the sales team to effectively position CDM products to customers.

- Drive revenue in the market through continuing education, consulting and support of the entire UK sales force.

Maintain demonstrated professional expertise in CDM products and their uses within Industry. Work closely with the product team to inform / understand the CDM roadmap.

Provides expertise by applying product, process and market knowledge across the UK CDM customer base.

Partner with Sales Management to uncover and assess training needs of sales professionals for all assigned products and solutions; work with colleagues in education and training to build programs that address needs, ensure delivery and implementation of successful training programs occur.

Participate and lead industry seminars, trade shows, and demonstrations; serve as recognized expert in all assigned LexisNexis Risk Solutions CDM products.

Work with the Press and Industry Analysts.

Actively spend a high proportion of time with customers, feedback “Voice of Customer” learning back into the business.

To carry out general day to day duties as and when required to ensure the smooth running of the business

 

Financial/Budgetary Responsibilities:

- Ensure adherence to approved budget levels by tracking expenses

 

Security/Training Responsibilities:

To comply with the Company’s information security and data protection policies and the Company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) at all times

To follow all instructions as laid out within the IMS and local instructions offered by management

To study and be aware of relevant controls and instructions as highlighted within the IMS

To agree to utilise and manage all assets as stipulated

To report security and data protection events, incidents, or concerns via the standard reporting procedures as set out in the IMS

To partake in on-going security and data protection competence tests as required

To maintain at all times the confidentiality of all the company’s privileged data and secrets, and not to divulge the same


Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Compliance

To comply with the Company’s FCA policies and processes

Attend FCA training provided by the Company, to gain awareness and understanding of the FCA principles of business at www.handbook.fca.org.uk/handbook/PRIN/2/1.html

Perform day-to-day activities in accordance with the requirements and spirit of the FCA principles of business

 

Qualifications and Experience:

- Degree level or equivalent relevant qualification.

Strong knowledge of the CDM market, competitive products and participants.

Experience of presenting at industry events and engaging with industry press.

Experience of positioning complex solutions in a team selling environment.

Demonstrate a genuine curiosity to learn and understand customers.

Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skills.

Demonstrates urgency and has a strong tendency towards action.

Demonstrate outstanding networking capabilities and exhibit a professional demeanour and business maturity.

Strong Customer Service, relationship development and customer satisfaction skills.

Strong ability to promptly manage and respond to numerous tasks and initiatives while maintaining attention to the detail.

Able to work as part of a team, accomplishing mutual team goals.
