Key skills, experience and competencies:

  • Minimum Bachelor degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional commercial experience successfully selling news information, data, data analytics platforms and APIs, and/or content integration services to key business decision makers, analysts, and data science personnel within corporations in the financial, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, retail and other industries
  • Experience in knowing how structured and unstructured data and/or data analytics platforms are used by data scientists, data analysts and business analysts in solving business issues
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of content and its structure and technical delivery mechanisms
  • High level of initiative and self motivation, with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Proven track record in solution sales within the information and/or IT services industry
  • Good networking, presentation and communication skills at all levels
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, verbal and in writing, other languages are preferred
  • Ability to motivate and stimulate colleagues and customers
  • Excellent understanding of online products, solutions, APIs/Cloud/Data Lakes and databases
  • Ability to effectively present LexisNexis products and solutions in a customer-facing environment using a communication style appropriate to the audience
  • Ability to utilize effective influencing strategies to gain agreement or commitment to proposed products and solutions in order advance the deal process to the next level
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple activities and reprioritize when necessary to ensure (POS) goals are achieved
  • Ability to effectively deal with changing expectations or challenges with clients as well as changes within LexisNexis product and service offerings
  • Ability to keep abreast of current and future competitive offerings in the appointed portfolio and communicate to cross-functional team to ensure LexisNexis product offerings are differentiated and value-adding
  • This role requires visits to client sites and incidental to other business units
