Performs the day-to-day operations of the assigned product(s) including product management, product development, product support, and market analysis. Provide guidance to Technology, Customer Service & Support, Sales, and Customers. Performs functions associated with product performance tracking, training, pricing, and promotion. 

Primary Accountabilities 
  • Understand direction and priorities for product(s). 
  • Demonstrate product knowledge relative to product/solution capabilities and application to specific customer needs.
  • Serve as a Marketing liaison to Sales, Customers, Technology, Customer Service & Support, Vendors, and other internal departments. 
  • Promote product(s) via participating in Customer and Sales meetings and presentations.  
  • Assist in the development of customer proposals and responses to requests for information.  
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of marketing and sales collateral for product(s) including brochures, presentations, and product information sheets. Provide input to technical and customer documentation. Write customer notifications regarding product changes and new functionality. 
  • Provide input to the preparation of marketing plans and promotional strategies. 
  • Oversee and manage Customer data contribution process.  
  • May develop and maintain business and/or technical relationships with outside vendors, data providers, and third parties. 
  • Understand and assist with the execution of legal and regulatory/legislative requirements relative to product(s). 
  • Participate in industry tradeshows. 
  • May identify and implement new product development and enhancement initiatives. 
  • May identify business, legal, customer, and/or vendor requirements and translate into complete written functional specifications. 
  • Provide support to Customers and Sales to define requirements and develop solution to meet business needs. 
  • Assist with the prioritization of development initiatives within Technology's development organization. 
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge relative to product(s) platforms, internal and vendor specifications, interfaces, feature functionality, and services in both production and test environments.  
  • Manage internal and external customer expectations for product deliverables, cost estimates, development effort, delivery timeframes, and operational performance.  
  • Work with Technology and Operations organizations to ensure system platforms have capacity to effectively process production volumes.  
  • Ensure customer account set up and billing systems are integrated with new products and can support changes/enhancements to existing products. 
  • Provide guidance as needed to Sales, Marketing, Customers, Customer Service & Support, Consumer Disclosure, Customer Accounting, and other impacted operational units regarding development, implementation, and support of new product(s) and enhancements.  
  • May prepare and conduct internal/external training sessions for product(s) to educate Sales, Customer Service & Support, and Technology on new or existing product capabilities. 
  • Perform customer specific research and ad hoc requests. 
  • Conduct and deliver special projects as requested.  
  • Assist with analysis of product management and financial reports, identifying and reporting on trends and issues on a daily/monthly/yearly basis.  
  • Assist with analysis of tracking product unit, revenue, cost, and profitability performance, including monitoring of current year production versus budget and prior year.  
  • Set, monitor, and maintain customer product rates.  
  • Participate in the preparation of annual revenue and cost budgets for assigned product(s). 
  • Monitor customer forecasts and production volumes.  
  • May conduct market share and product participation analysis, addressing issues as identified. 
  • Monitor day-to-day operations of product(s). Respond to and resolve issues. 

Qualifications 
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. 
  • 3-5 years experience required. 
  • Proficient with standard PC applications and software (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet). Able to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities.
