The Associate Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for driving & assisting new business revenue and POS (Point of Sale) through the sale of LexisNexis products, services and content within assigned accounts or territory. In this role, The Associate Inside Sales Representative will build a portfolio of perspective clients through lead generation. The Associate Inside Sales Representative will train extensively on the job and set the foundations move into the Inside Sales Representative role.
 
Responsibilities of the Associate Inside Sales Representative:
  1. Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
  2. Identifies and qualifies opportunities through lead generation
  3. Develops a pipeline of viable opportunities and effectively manages the pipeline with the account team, including timely follow up of all leads and advancing leads through selling process to close
  4. Prospect for new clients through a high volume of cold calling and following up with prospects as previously identified
  5. Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of products, content and solutions including the ability to articulate competitive differentiators, our value proposition, and our world-class business processes
  6. Ability to identify and communicate effectively with key contacts within a customer’s organization
  7. Collaborates with other sales team members to secure new business; provide input in conjunction with account team on development of Marketing plans and programs to maximize goals
  8. Other duties as assigned 
 
Basic Qualifications of the Inside Sales Representative:
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  2. 1-2 years proven experience generating new business sales, preferably in a business to business environment
  3. Experience with heavy prospecting activities, including but not limited to high volume cold-calling, social-media prospecting, etc.
  4. Ability to effectively partner and collaborate across teams

  5. Ability to lift/carry laptop or IPad and other sales materials up to 25 lbs.
