This position exists to manage and grow revenue through the sale of LexisNexis products to current subscribers and non-subscribers in the government market and meet or exceed objectives in the areas of revenue, customer satisfaction and market penetration.

Accountabilities:
  • Meet or exceed revenue objectives.
  • Work closely with the Account Executives and Branch Managers to develop and implement plans which identify sales strategies, assess revenue potential and outline targeted activities to maximize revenue opportunities. 
  • Communicate to the appropriate individuals information that results in the achievement of account, territory, branch and NIS objectives, prevents revenue erosion and capitalizes on revenue opportunities.
  • Understand the value of LexisNexis products and pricing as well as competitive offerings and articulate LexisNexis benefits in a manner meaningful to a customer.
  • Develop key contacts and business relationships with members of the government including influential individuals and professional organizations.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of the government market. 
  • Bachelors degree preferred or equiv experience 
  • 2 - 4 years sales experience. Government sector preferred
