Purpose
of the Role:
The Drug Information Sales Specialist
role accelerates revenue and helps produce deep insights about our customers
using various data sources. This role is dedicated to understanding the health
of our drug information customer portfolio using analysis and other means to
identify renewal risks and trends, manage migrations of product versions, and
more. The analyst should be familiar with working directly with data to verify,
manage and accelerate accurate quarterly and annual revenue. This includes
interpreting a high volume of customer agreements for entry within
Salesforce.com with precision. This individual would be required to thrive
within a fast-paced, often-changing sales environment without losing focus on
priorities. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of
organization, with strong attention to detail, and good problem solving and
follow-up skills.
The Drug Information Sales teams represent the following products:
Clinical Pharmacology sets the standard for drug
reference. It provides the most
comprehensive, current drug information through the industry’s cleanest,
easiest-to-use interface.
Gold Standard Drug Database (GSDD) is a
drug database and decision support engine that delivers exceptional patient
safety, IT and operational value.
Predictive
Acquisition Cost (PAC)
establishes a pricing range to help stakeholders determine the performance of
pricing contracts, control cost, solve pricing challenges and manage
reimbursement rates.
ProspectoRx is a powerful web-based application that
provides immediate access to accurate, comprehensive drug product and pricing
information for guiding business decisions.
Job
Responsibilities:
Integral part of the Drug Information team interpreting customer contracts and purchase orders to accelerate accurate invoicing
Work with Sales team to organize and streamline renewal processes and paperwork requirements
Analysis of the revenue by product and market, determining trends and potential long-term risks to the product base
Conduct market research and organize all accounts in all Drug Information markets
Responsible for ensuring up-to-the minute accurate sales and/or quantitative information is captured in the appropriate database or tracking sheet
Display high attention to detail and desire to produce accurate, detailed and quality work
Ability to analyze and recognize potential sales obstacles and recommend solutions.

Our
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
1+ years of consultative sales/account management experience
CRM system data entry experience, preferable Salesforce
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) required
Possess strong organizational skills to provide timely and consistent support
Possess and display effective written and verbal communication and organizational skills
