Experience and Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g. MD, MS, PhD, etc.).
  • At least 10 years of experience in healthcare and analytics.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for improving the quality and cost efficiency of patient care across the U.S. and globally.
  • Experience building and managing a highly skilled analytics team and providing leadership in complex business environments.
  • Experience answering clinical outcomes, cost of care, and value-based payment questions in oncology and other service lines.
  • Advanced knowledge of healthcare, health insurance, health care research, and advanced analytic methods including predictive and prescriptive modeling.
  • Extensive experience combining and utilizing large and complex datasets from multiple sources including electronic health record, charge capture, claims, and PROs. 
  • Experience in analytics for quality measurement and reporting, including CMS Healthcare Quality Programs.
  • Subject matter expert in analytics methodologies and best practices, including outcomes measurement and study design.
  • Experience applying artificial intelligence in analytics and data abstraction, including using NLP to structure unstructured data. 
  • Ability to identify, understand, and quantify existing and new addressable market opportunities. Identify specific new products and features for competitive differentiation.
  • Proven achievement in putting data into practice and successfully engaging customers and business partners to drive change.
  • Customer focused with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Forward-thinking and creative, knowledgeable of industry trends with a desire to remain educated on industry direction and emerging technologies.
  • Experience interfacing with senior executives and clinical leadership to communicate how analytics can drive outcome improvement and cost reduction.
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to a broad range of stakeholders and customers with experience in formal presentations, small group discussion, and one-on-one interactions.
  • Ability to travel 20-25% of the time.
