Operations IT/ Integration Analyst – Intermediate

The primary role of this position is to provide technical support for the Operations department with a special emphasis on the Implementation group, but also includes the Account Management, Clinical Content, and Research, Analytics, and Reporting groups.. This will require not only technical expertise but excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Technical support of the Operations Department will include working with customers to develop and deploy HL7 interfaces and EMR integration through API's , creation of all new customer orgs, customer specific configurations, dynamic documents, action driven messaging, etc. The role will require a broad background in computer science, the application of many different programming languages, a complete set of programming/debugging skills, ability to adapt and change, and an aptitude for continuous learning. The candidate will be able to expand their role into defining and leading new software projects which will deliver significant impact. The Operations IT Analyst is a customer facing position as many of the associated responsibilities will require significant coordination and collaboration with customer technical teams, and administrative leads.
4 year academic degree including courses in computer programming, systems analysis, system development, or systems engineering OR has acquired Core IT skills and knowledge via practical experience.
Minimum of three years' experience in related field.
Master the essential knowledge base for an IT professional including word processing, email and spreadsheets.
Master the essential IT principles and analytical rules that guide their application in practical situations.
Rely on buddy system/coach to demonstrate applied skills and to guide non-routine actions.

Basic knowledge and applies server-side technologies or similar concepts on other technologies.
Working knowledge of configuration files.
Basic knowledge with web site construction and management.
Experience using, developing, and managing for Linux, UNIX, and/or Microsoft Windows systems. 
Highly proficient in programming preferred (JavaScript, XSLT, PowerShell, T-SQL)
Acquire and maintain working knowledge of Mirth Connect application, HL7, and client community systems.
Thorough understanding and ability to oversee the Design, Development, and Delivery processes.
High initiative and be self-motivated to exceed expectations.
Ability to work in and support a team based environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as listening skills.
Exhibits an extreme attention to detail.
Strongly prefer previous experience implementing and/or supporting clinical applications.
Excellent organizational skills.
Demonstrates confidence and poise when dealing with customers.
Possesses superior problem solving/analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to learn new skills quickly.
