Job Title: Editorial Contact Information Team Executive

Purpose of the job:

·         Administrative support for Editors, Editorial Board Members and Publishers;

·         Develop and maintain relations with Publishers, Editors and Board Members;

·         Provide process guidance and timely status information to all stakeholders for all data collection and administration;

·         Deliver positive contribution to overall team performance and process improvements

 

Key Result Area:

 

Administration of Journal Data:

 

·         Centrally maintain Journal Contact Information in JCI system; Adhere to data entry standardization; Initiate and maintain content of journal web pages; Organize and keep project files; Ensure ready access to information for use and knowledge transfer.

 

Communication

 

·         Communicate with internal and external contacts about queries and ongoing activities; Coordinate activities with internal and external contacts; Track and follow up as required to meet schedules; Regularly update publishers on status of activities

 

Centre of Excellence:

 

·         Contribute to building and maintenance of the Centre of Excellence to share best practices and contribute to the efficiency of the Global Publishing Services Team

 

Functional and Technical competencies:

 

 

·         Knowledge of publishing process and related developments

·         Knowledge and familiarity with JCI, EES, EVISE

·         Knowledge and ability to work with MS suite: Excel, Outlook, Word.

·         Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

 

 

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

 

·         Minimum University degree, preferably M.Sc. level

·         At least 2 years relevant experience, preferably in the publishing industry
